About UsBob Linscheid—PresidentSince forming the Linscheid Company in 1993, Bob has been very involved in the marketing and business attraction of companies to Butte County. Prior to starting The Linscheid Company, Bob spent 14 years as CEO for three different Chambers of Commerce of Antioch, Walnut Creek and seven years of which were with the Chico Chamber of Commerce. Bob was also a founding member of The Chico Heat Professional Baseball Club, where he served two years as its Vice President/General Manager. He also served as President of the Western Baseball League. Bob has most recently been instrumental in bringing Professional Baseball back to Chico through the Golden Baseball League and served as President and Chairman of the Board for the Chico Outlaws Professional Baseball Club. Bob has received numerous awards for his service to the community, including College Business Person of the Year, Executive of the Year for the Western Association of Chambers of Commerce Executives, and is a Paul Harris Fellow Recipient in Rotary International. Bob continues to be involved in the Rotary Club of Chico having served as President in 2001-02 and District Coordinator for Polio Eradication Program for three years and helped raise over $600,000 to eradicate this horrible disease. Bob serves as a member of the California State University Board of Trustees, our nations largest higher education institution. Bob received his BA and Masters degree in Public Administration from CSU, Chico, where he served a term as Student Body President. Bob is also a proud father of four children.
